With excitement, I am utterly pleased to reveal that Dead Fleurette will be collaborating with the Australian designer Gillian Tennant for its very first giveaway, exclusively for the lovely visitors of this blog. One lucky person will win two pieces from Gillian Tennant – consisting of a top and shorts or skirt combination. Anyone can enter as this contest is worldwide.

What a way to celebrate the recent launch of Gillian Tennant online! The collection consists of beautiful vintage-inspired basics that are handmade from natural fabrics and will blend in perfectly with every woman’s wardrobe. Because of the label’s exclusivity, each style in the collection is limited edition, which means you probably won’t stumble into someone with an identical garment.

To enter the giveaway, write a post on your blog, tumblr, etc, in which you state briefly why you would like to win + pick out a top and shorts /or skirt from the Gillian Tennant collection and visualize how you would style the chosen combination using collage (photoshop, paint, polyvore, etc). Leave me a link to your blog post as a comment, and don’t forget to leave your name and e-mail as well. You can submit your entry in either English or Norwegian.

If you don’t have a blog, you can also participate in this giveaway. Submit your name + e-mail address along with your contest entry (collage + a brief answer on why you should be the winner) under the comments section.

I hope this was the proper way to go about an entry if you don't have a blog, etc.Entry:"I would love to win the Gilliant Tennant give away because I found the pieces not only completely gorgeous but to be very versatile and I feel they would work in a number of different ways in my wardrobe. I was given the chance to study in NYC during my winter/spring semester, so closet space would be limited while I am there, and these pieces could defiantly work throughout the varied seasons I’d be away. That was the idea that inspired my collage, the two pieces could be worn year round.   17. I’ve just finished cleaning my wardrobe and all I see are empty hangers. I feel like these two items would fill my wardrobe more than any other items would be able to. I'd pair the Gillian Tennant top and shorts with a pair of simple heels. On top of that, I'd have an oversized jacket and wear a simple black bag as a clutch. As I'm not much of a jewellery girl, I'd just wear a big, golden ring (like the one Phoebe wears in my collage).http://img204.imageshack.us/img204/8224/collagev.png(i'm sill)

  25. Sorry I didn't make a collage exactly. Gillian's collection is flawless. Her pieces are so effortless and lovely. I normally stick to darker colors, but even if I don't win I am definitely going to invest in some of her pieces. The creams have got me thinking about all the layering potential. I've just started making my own clothes (badly!) and Gillian Tennant's collection is such an inspiration to me!Here's my collage: http://www.polyvore.com/gillian_tennant_competition/set?id=22579255The look I created is what I would wear on my first day of university next month! Having just left school, I'm not yet ready to completely abandon my school uniform (which I actually loved wearing!) so I've used some pieces from it in this look.I think I should be the winner because I'm really enjoying making my own clothes at the moment, rather than buying them, and Gillian's use of natural fabrics really inspires me. I don't need to spend hours thinking about the outfit I'm going to wear, because every single top or a skirt is going to look good. I can wear the top casually with a pair of jeans or shorts, or with a nice skirt if I need to go somewhere important. The skirt can be used as a part of a girly outfit, paired with flats or sandals or with a nice blazer if needed to work.
